Hosting Services
I host websites for a variety of individuals and organizations. Below, I've described a few of the sites that I host, and the organizations and individuals they represent. All site descriptions include links to the current version of their respective sites; links open in new windows.
My services include quality customer support and utilities like Apache, MySQL, Perl, and PHP (and more).
If you're looking for hosting for a website for yourself, a friend, or an organization, or if you'd just like more information about my services, please send me an email at eckertd@gmail.com.
HostedGroups Management Service
The Hosted Groups Management Service allows an organization to manage membership, event-planning, credit-based activities, and other related tasks through an easy-to-use web interface.
To date, HostedGroups supports scheduling and management data for over 800 registered users who have participated in more than 1,000 events that have resulted in over 30,000 hours of service to their communities.
My services provide HostedGroups with a stable and secure operating platform that allows its users to focus on their outreach activities.
The Scarlet Divide
After playing together for over 5 years, the three-man band Scarlet Divide is entering into its second year of album production in 2008. To match their progress, the group needed a web presence to promote themselves.
My web services provide the Scarlet Divide with a platform to publicize themselves and reach out to their audiences across the web through media hosting and dynamic content publishing provided by free Wordpress publishing software.
Triangle Gujarati Association Youth Group
The Youth Group of the Triangle Gujarati Association provides a community to its members, who in turn volunteer community service efforts in the Triangle area of North Carolina.
Hosted on my server, the TGA Youth Group has the MySQL database infrastructure necessary to run the Wordpress website it uses to manage its organizational functions and communicate with members.
